Das Photoarchiv (Teil 1) des
Montanarchivs Altböckstein
Ein Großteil der in Privatbesitz befindlichen Stollenphotos sind schon viele Jahre alt und insofern wertvolle montanarchäologische Dokumente, als die Stollen inzwischen weiter verbrochen und heute nicht mehr befahrbar sind.
Ein kleiner Teil der Photos wurde den Montanmuseen als Leihgabe zur Verfügung gestellt. Weitere Photos werden im Rahmen dieses Photarchivs in elektronischer Form veröffentlicht.   
Darüber hinaus ist geplant, Standpunkte, von denen aus Photos gemacht wurden, zu alten Stollenplänen zur Veranschaulichung in Beziehung zu bringen, siehe weiter unten.

Unique historical mining documents and photos covering the History of Gold at Böckstein  near Salzburg/Austria over more than 2.000 years !

Vertical and horizontal mills were used during centuries.
